IT Support Specialist providing first line support to computer equipment in manufacturing environments. Responsible for hardware and software issues and maintaining support ticket system.
Responsibilities
Provide first line support to computer equipment within manufacturing facilities and warehouses
Maintain a ticket management system to keep track of incidents and requests from associates
Identification/troubleshooting of basic hardware/software problems
Hardware installation of computer equipment, laptops, desktop computers, printers, etc.
Software installation.
Preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, ensuring its optimal operation
Assistance in troubleshooting Web browsers and installation of Internet plugins (Java configurations).
Capability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent
2 years of experience
Microsoft Office and Microsoft S365 knowledge
General knowledge of remote working platforms
Basic knowledge in Cherwell, RDP, Bomgar, VNC, Team viewer.
General knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS).
Knowledge of laser printers, thermal transfer, direct printing, etc.
Basic knowledge of zebra scanners and printers.
