Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders;
Identify the client’s business initiatives and articulate, from Ricoh’s perspective, how services can achieve the desired business outcomes;
Use consultative selling techniques with a focus on customer value and return on investment (ROI);
Prospect and develop new clients, including planning and conducting introductory meetings both virtually and in person;
Research and understand alignment across ministries and agencies, initiatives, policies, and client types;
Collaborate with peers, including supporting advisors and specialists to design solutions that drive transformation and fit the client’s complex environment;
Present strategic prospecting plans that incorporate stakeholder feedback, including input from managers, advisors, operations, legal, and support teams;
Manage complex contract negotiations and act as an intermediary for the legal group and senior management team;
Review complex public sector requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead Ricoh’s response;
Use Salesforce to manage account activities, pipeline progress, and forecasts.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree (preferably in Business)
Experience in a B2B environment, in IT, or in consultative sales (preferably in the public sector)
Established relationships and contacts within the Quebec public sector market
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong reporting and forecasting abilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required (and auto insurance in accordance with Ricoh policy).
