Responsibilities
Perform operational tax posting routines in the ERP (purchase invoices, sales invoices, service invoices, adjustments and other tax documents)
Ensure correct tax parameterization of transactions in the ERP and related systems
Flag and support adjustments when necessary
Analyze and classify tax transactions in accordance with current legislation
Conduct tax credit analyses and identify recovery opportunities
Ensure deadlines are met and consistency of transmitted information
Perform accounting vs. tax reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation applicable to the business
Prepare documentation and analyses for audits and tax inspections
Provide technical support to the Senior professional in managing tax contingencies
Take full responsibility for deliverables and analyses under their management
Investigate discrepancies and propose adjustments
Support the development of internal controls for the area
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law or related fields
Minimum of 3 years' experience in tax routines
Solid knowledge of tax legislation (federal, state and municipal)
Practical experience with tax postings in ERP and SPED platforms
Analytical ability and attention to detail
Autonomy to manage routines and make technical decisions
Responsible, committed and results-oriented profile
Active registration with the CRC (Regional Accounting Council) — a plus
