About the role

  • Energy Analyst focusing on lighting systems to ensure compliance with energy efficiency programs in Ontario. Conducting audits, developing measure scopes, and preparing utility documentation while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site and desktop audits of lighting systems and controls
  • Provide compliance assessment of lighting levels
  • Develop utility-ready measure scopes for energy efficiency programs
  • Specify and select lighting and equipment
  • Prepare detailed energy and savings calculations
  • Monitor utility incentive programs and prepare documentation
  • Review engineering standards and as-built documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant energy engineering experience
  • P.Eng. designation in Ontario required (or ability to acquire)
  • Knowledge of high-efficiency lighting systems and controls, applicable codes and standards, electrical systems, solar PV fundamentals
  • Skills in lighting audits, illuminance measurement, savings calculations, utility incentive documentation, M&V planning, technical reporting, and design intent verification
  • Moderate travel required with a valid driver’s license
