Responsibilities
Field sales specialist responsible for business and key accounts in the civil engineering trade, including proactive sales activities and management of supplier relationships, purchasing and price negotiations for both warehouse and site/project business
Project-related quotation calculation, follow-up and active order securing
Collaboration with site management / regional sales management and central purchasing for the strategic realignment of civil engineering in the southern sales region
Continuation of existing customer relationships and development of new customer and industry relationships in the newly established sales region (in cooperation with the civil engineering team from internal sales and quotation processing)
Participation in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies as well as organizing and conducting marketing, training and technical events
Contribution to assortment and sales strategy in the sales region while monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient goods management (regional hub warehouse) in coordination with purchasing
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training in a construction or trading environment, or equivalent qualifications
Professional experience in the sale of construction materials for civil engineering (sewer and road construction), preferably from project/site business
Ability to work independently and to motivate teams within the building materials trade
Strong customer orientation, assertiveness and teamwork skills
Result- and target-oriented mindset in commercial sales
Confident use of ERP systems and Office tools; willingness to travel regionally either in Upper Bavaria or in the Franconia area (multiple options)
German language skills at native level
