About the role

  • Business Development Manager focusing on expanding the cable protection division for leading telecom infrastructure solutions in Germany. Involves project acquisition and key account management.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and expand the cable protection business unit
  • Establish the brand for power supply / electrification in the German market
  • Strategic and sustainable sales-oriented key account management in Germany
  • Continuous monitoring of network and HVDC (high-voltage direct current) infrastructure projects and their requirements
  • Manage acquisition from project cost estimation and proposal preparation through to contract negotiation with investors, grid operators, utilities, etc.
  • Close collaboration with the international sales teams in cable protection
  • Market research and identification of market potential in the high-voltage cable protection area for direct-current transmission lines
  • Strengthen and position the sales brand and market presence
  • Organize and deliver company and product presentations as well as trade show participation for the cable protection business unit

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial education or comparable qualification with a focus on project and sales experience in high-voltage cable protection
  • Professional experience in high-voltage cable protection — ideally in passive telecommunications technology, communications engineering, or electrification projects
  • High willingness to travel nationally as a Key Account Manager (residence preferably in the northern part of Germany, roughly from the Frankfurt Heights area)
  • Strong sales-oriented personality with pronounced customer focus
  • Confident presence and a structured way of working
  • Personal responsibility, initiative, commitment, independence, loyalty and flexibility
  • Team player in both national and international B2B environments
  • Proficient in Office applications and CRM systems
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
