Responsibilities
Develop relationships with business leaders across the organization to understand and document service-level requirements as inputs to procurement strategy.
Act as a collaborative leader representing Procurement with a client-serving attitude.
Manage supplier performance for indirect categories, including cost, quality, delivery, and contract compliance; support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and ensure accountability to performance goals.
Develop category-specific procurement strategies to reduce organizational risk and drive performance improvements, focusing on lowering Total Cost of Ownership (including service costs, transactional, and logistical costs).
Create dashboards to track and report on effectiveness of indirect procurement initiatives.
Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to assess change impact and develop strategies to address performance gaps.
Categorize and analyze indirect spend for sourcing and process improvement opportunities.
Act as subject matter expert for supplier capabilities in indirect categories; partner with internal Coupa SMEs to optimize utilization across departments.
Align Coupa catalogs and content to supplier contracts and service selections.
Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
Collaborate with operations and functional teams to expand existing service programs or develop new plans with strategic partners.
Lead projects implementing new contracted programs and process improvements.
Requirements
5+ years in Indirect Procurement (e.g., services, IT, marketing, facilities) and implementing sourcing strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, economics, data analytics/science, or business administration, or 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Familiarity with procurement systems and indirect sourcing best practices.
Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and supplier performance metrics.
Ability to travel to suppliers, conferences, and company locations 10–20% (5–10 trips/year).
Capable of analyzing and presenting spend analysis and category strategies.
