About the role
- Financial Service Advisor assisting students with financial aid applications and providing financing information. Reporting to the Director of Student Financial Services at Remington College in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Assists student questions when applying for financial aid and provides them information about financing options
- Ask questions of students to determine what types/amounts of financial aid they may be eligible to receive
- Responds to students’ requests for help with financial aid information and to their related questions
- Follows up with students to help ensure the timely completion of applications and filings
- Reviews Estimated Award Letters with students
Requirements
- At least an associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- A minimum of two (2) years of federal student financial aid experience
- Experience with financial services, financial aid, or financial counseling preferred
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Experience with Anthology student software a plus
