About the role

  • Business Development Manager supporting mergers and acquisitions in the solar energy sector. Conducting financial analysis and market intelligence in a fast-growing renewable energy company.

Responsibilities

  • Support mergers and acquisitions within the solar energy sector
  • Conduct due diligence and assess the risks and viability of a target company or project
  • Perform financial modeling and analyze feasibility and sensitivities studies
  • Prepare and manage transaction materials and assist during negotiation phases
  • Conduct market intelligence and monitor the Italian photovoltaic M&A market
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Background in engineering with finance, economics, business administration knowledge, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Business Development in renewable energy sector
  • Solid understanding of photovoltaic project economics and development stages
  • Basic knowledge of permitting, technical, and regulatory aspects of PV projects in Italy
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
