Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients within the construction and infrastructure sector, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and secure new business within the sector, aligning customer needs with our waste and resource management solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ sustainability objectives, advising on best practices and solutions to reduce waste, increase recycling, and support circular economy initiatives.
Lead negotiations to secure long-term contracts that deliver value for both the customer and Reconomy.
Track account performance and prepare reports on service levels, cost savings, and environmental benefits delivered.
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and sustainability experts, to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales, within the construction, infrastructure and/or waste management sectors.
Strong understanding of the waste management industry, circular economy principles and sustainability challenges facing the construction sector.
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive, customer-focused, and driven to achieve results, with a passion for sustainability and a waste-free future.
Relevant degree or professional qualifications in business, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence.
