Responsibilities
- Study, analyze, and propose tax planning strategies aimed at optimizing the company's resources, including cash flow management, utilization of tax credits, and process efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports and management information on tax plans under review or implementation, providing recommendations to support tax management decisions.
- Support management in evaluating strategic scenarios by providing detailed analyses of the tax impacts of tax reform and other regulatory changes.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and jurisprudential changes, assessing tax risks, impacts, and opportunities relevant to the organization.
- Advise internal departments, including the Shared Services Center, on tax calculation and compliance with ancillary reporting obligations, ensuring adherence to legislation.
- Review tax calculations and contractual clauses from a tax perspective, identifying inconsistencies and proposing adjustments.
- Establish, monitor, and implement internal controls aimed at mitigating tax risks and ensuring adherence to compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree in Tax Law or related fields is a plus.
- Solid experience with tax regulations, tax accounting, and indirect taxes.
- Proficiency with SAP ERP.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to interpret tax legislation.
