Responsibilities
Study, analyze, and propose tax planning strategies aimed at optimizing the company's resources, including cash flow management, utilization of tax credits, and process efficiency.
Prepare and present reports and management information on tax plans under review or implementation, providing recommendations to support tax management decisions.
Support management in evaluating strategic scenarios by providing detailed analyses of the tax impacts of tax reform and other regulatory changes.
Monitor and analyze legislative and jurisprudential changes, assessing tax risks, impacts, and opportunities relevant to the organization.
Advise internal departments, including the Shared Services Center, on tax calculation and compliance with ancillary reporting obligations, ensuring adherence to legislation.
Review tax calculations and contractual clauses from a tax perspective, identifying inconsistencies and proposing adjustments.
Establish, monitor, and implement internal controls aimed at mitigating tax risks and ensuring adherence to compliance practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
Postgraduate degree in Tax Law or related fields is a plus.
Solid experience with tax regulations, tax accounting, and indirect taxes.
Proficiency with SAP ERP.
Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to interpret tax legislation.
