About the role
- Engineer III responsible for refrigeration maintenance and repair in a resort setting. Ensuring safe and clean operations while providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition in accordance with Health and Fire regulations
- Performs a variety of skilled tasks, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with all aspects of buildings, facilities systems and equipment with an emphasis on refrigeration work
Requirements
- Must have journeyman or higher skillset for this position
- Minimum five years experience specializing in Refrigeration
- Five years’ experience in a resort is preferred
- Basic knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance and guest room maintenance
- Ability to solve problems using troubleshooting skills
- Responsible for safety of self and others
- Knowledge of MSDS, occupational hazards and applicable safety hazards
- Knowledge of basic methods and practices used in preventive maintenance and repair work
- Ability to operate power tools
- Ability to communicate, read and write in English
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times both internal and external
- Ability to maintain work orders
- Ability to accomplish tasks within strict deadlines
- Ability to continually seek improvement in results
- Skill in diagnosing and repair of equipment utilized
- Must be able to order and maintain material par levels
- Valid Nevada driver license required
- Current EPA Certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
