About the role

  • Release Train Engineer facilitating Agile Release Train processes for a global technology leader in automation. Leading execution, transparency, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring alignment to SAFe principles and practices
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile, Lean, and SAFe ways of working
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and delivery excellence
  • Plan, facilitate, and execute PI Planning events (in-person and/or virtual), including agenda creation, readiness and logistics
  • Facilitate ART ceremonies such as: Scrum of Scrums, PO Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops
  • Ensure PI Objectives are clearly defined, committed, tracked, and communicated
  • Own ART-level status reporting, ensuring accurate and transparent visibility into: PI Objectives progress, Feature delivery status, Program predictability metrics, Dependencies and impediments
  • Proactively identify, track, and manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Serve as the primary owner and power user of Jira Align for the ART
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery and release activities across multiple PODs and systems
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution in partnership with business stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted delivery partner to senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles (RTE, Scrum Master, Program Manager, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with SAFe at scale (ART-level or above)
  • Expertise in Jira Align and Jira-based Agile tooling
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and large-scale Agile ceremonies
  • Risk management, dependency management, and problem-solving skills
  • SAFe RTE Certification (preferred)
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformations in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Background in technology delivery, data platforms, or enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, digital platforms)
  • Experience working with distributed or global teams.
