About the role
- Junior Engineer Approvals at GROHE managing product certifications for water systems. Engaging with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with standards and norms.
Responsibilities
- You will support product certifications for potable water systems and components
- You will ensure approvals remain up to date and monitor global changes to standards
- Within the framework of standards and requirements, you will act as the central contact for all internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for communicating any upcoming changes
- You will support certification-relevant products as part of new projects
- You will coordinate certification activities within a network of internal departments and external partners (suppliers, customers, testing institutes, certification bodies)
- Developing and maintaining a personal network with external partners, including on-site visits, completes your responsibilities
Requirements
- You are a technician/engineer or have a comparable qualification
- You already have some professional experience in product testing, ideally in the testing of fittings/valves
- Knowledge of drinking water hygiene testing (UBA, DVGW, WRAS, NSF, etc.) is desirable
- You have good knowledge of applying and working with applicable standards and regulations, as well as product conformity
- You present yourself confidently and with a customer-oriented manner and possess excellent communication skills
- You demonstrate initiative and bring strong implementation skills and a results-oriented approach
- Your working style is careful, structured and solution-oriented
- You have fluent written and spoken English
