About the role

  • Account Manager nurturing customer relationships at JOIN, a recruiting software startup. Converting leads and driving revenue growth in a collaborative environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Convert qualified inbound leads into customers — no cold calling.
  • Conduct needs analyses, deliver persuasive presentations, and position JOIN as the best solution for recruiting needs.
  • Manage and grow your own customer portfolio as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify up- and cross-selling opportunities and present tailored solutions.
  • Use CRM tools such as HubSpot to manage leads, track opportunities, and forecast revenue.
  • Analyze data and conduct regular strategic conversations to deepen client relationships and ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align lead generation with sales conversion.
  • Report insights from customer feedback to help improve processes and offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, including new business acquisition and account growth (preferably in SaaS or tech).
  • Fluent German and confident English skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and structured working style.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to optimize sales activities.
  • Customer-first attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bonus: experience in HR tech, recruiting, or software-as-a-service.
  • Additional language skills (e.g. French, Dutch, or Spanish) are a plus.
  • Understanding of the SMB and mid-market customer landscape in the DACH region.
