Business Development Executive at ProfileTree generating new business through consultative sales conversations for website projects and digital marketing services. Engaging clients and managing relationships within the hybrid role based in Belfast.
Responsibilities
Proactively generate new business through cold outreach across email, phone, video and other suitable platforms.
Lead consultative sales conversations focused on website projects and digital services including SEO, content and digital strategy.
Confidently discuss website structure, UX, CMS platforms, SEO and performance with prospects and clients.
Produce clear, structured proposals and scopes of work.
Manage client relationships from first contact through onboarding and ongoing growth.
Work closely with Web, Strategy and Client Services teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in our CRM.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience in business development, account management or a client-facing role, ideally within a digital or agency environment.
Proven experience selling website projects and/or digital marketing services.
Strong understanding of how websites generate leads, including SEO fundamentals.
Confident communicator across phone, email and video, including recording outreach videos.
Ability to take a client brief, build structured proposals and manage expectations from first call through to delivery.
Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline accurately.
Highly organised, proactive and commercially driven.
Working knowledge of WordPress (desirable).
Exposure to Google Analytics, Search Console or SEO tools (desirable).
Previous agency experience (desirable).
