About the role

• Solutions Architect designing scalable and secure technology solutions for Pottencial Seguradora, ensuring architectural decisions align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design technological solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring architectural decisions support the company’s strategic objectives while considering scalability, security, and operational efficiency;
• Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions, fostering integration among stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical and product teams, and ensuring the architecture meets growth and innovation demands;
• Ensure adoption of sustainable architectures by promoting component reuse, modularity, and development best practices, guaranteeing that solutions are flexible and adaptable to changes in the corporate environment;
• Define communication and integration strategies between systems, creating and validating models for APIs, message exchange, and interoperability between internal and external solutions, ensuring consistency and efficiency in data exchange;
• Actively participate in the software lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines from conception through delivery and support of solutions;
• Propose strategies for modernizing and evolving critical systems, evaluating opportunities for migration, refactoring, and adoption of new architectural approaches that ensure longevity, performance, and reduced operational costs;
• Ensure solutions are aligned with the company’s long-term strategy, promoting technology governance and ensuring architectural decisions support digital transformation and continuous business innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or completed technical degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems;
• Architectural Patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven, Modular Monoliths, etc.) — Advanced;
• Cloud Computing and Distributed Architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and Cloud-Native practices) — Advanced;
• API Management, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC — Advanced;
• Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) — Intermediate;
• ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and Messaging Patterns — Intermediate;
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and Observability — Basic;
• Cloud Security practices, LGPD/GDPR, and implementing secure architectures — Basic;
• Data Lakes, ETL, Data Mesh, and Data Governance — Intermediate;
• Preferred — Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect;
• Preferred — AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional.
