About the role
- IT Solution Engineer enhancing communication and change management for Group IT. Focused on structuring complex IT topics for effective employee engagement and project alignment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and run workflows for internal Group IT project communication (cadence, formats, responsibilities)
- Build and manage communication channels to reach employees effectively and consistently
- Create tailored communication materials for projects (announcements, updates, timelines, FAQs, launch comms)
- Expand outreach across Product teams, Edge IT, IT Services, and the Service Desk
- Support broader end-user and business communication for Group IT when needed
Requirements
- University degree in informatics or alternative training with relevant professional experience in this field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in this field
- Experience in commonly used programming languages and frameworks like Python, .Net, Java, FastAPI, Typescript
- Strong automation and infrastructure as code mindset backed by proven experience in using tools like Terraform and CI/CD technologies like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Proven experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or Azure)
- Fluent in English, spoken and written, german is a plus
- Enthusiastic about fostering direct interaction with users and collaborating closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
- Ability and willingness to coach and to take responsibility for data platform offerings
- Strong technical skills complemented by a proactive attitude and ability to monitor trends in data platform engineering.
- Ability to learn new technologies and skills (T-Shape philosophy)
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, with experience working effectively within agile teams and environments, fostering an agile mindset in daily work.
