About the role

  • Responsible for financial bookkeeping in the largest postal services area. Involves reporting and IFRS compliance in a multi-faceted role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate financial accounting for the Logistics Services division, the largest postal area
  • Accounting processing and recording of financial transactions
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
  • VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly IFRS-based reports for the group accounting team
  • Advising finance and Logistics Services business partners
  • Liaising with external auditors and supporting audits and reviews
  • Taking on special assignments from the Head of Accounting Logistics Services

Requirements

  • Advanced professional training with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting under Swiss and international accounting standards (OR and IFRS)
  • Experience in both group and SME structures
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP FI (ideally S/4HANA)
  • Excellent German language skills and good spoken proficiency in another national language and in English
