Sales Manager leading and developing a high-performing sales team at POD Marketing. Responsible for driving revenue growth and creating a performance-driven culture in Calgary's Dental and Eye Care divisions.
Responsibilities
Lead, recruit, onboard, and develop members of the sales team
Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and team meetings to support development and address at-risk accounts
Monitor team performance and hold individuals accountable to established KPIs
Provide ongoing coaching, role-play, and training around objection handling and sales effectiveness
Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, customer insights, and opportunities
Collaborate with operations and other departments to improve reporting, processes, and overall efficiency
Own team revenue targets, including new business and/or MRR goals
Review pipeline activity and optimize pipeline management within Salesforce
Forecast revenue and identify risks or opportunities across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles
Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve results
Requirements
3–7+ years of experience in sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent corporate work experience.
2+ years of experience in customer service or hospitality (serving or bartending experience is considered a strong asset).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and forecast revenue.
Experience in dental, aesthetics, or eye care industries is considered an asset.
