Responsibilities
- The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of cross-functional projects and programs.
- Actively manage project scope, schedule, risks and issues to ensure timely delivery and achievement of business objectives.
- Facilitate project scope definition and timeline and resource estimations.
- Maintain accurate project schedules and documentation in accordance with EPMO policies and procedures.
- Manage dependencies between teams to minimize delays.
- Conduct regular project meetings to manage action items and dependencies and monitor progress.
- Deliver weekly project reporting with visibility into progress, risk, value delivery and resource utilization.
- Develop effective working relationships to foster shared ownership of project outcomes and ensure stakeholder needs are identified and met.
- Proactively monitor and communicate project risks and issues and development of mitigation plans.
- Assist with lean process reviews and mapping exercises.
- Assist with quarterly program planning, ensuring alignment of business-led initiatives with technology roadmaps and dependencies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software or technology project management and an advanced degree; OR a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience.
- Project management experience in an Agile environment.
- Professional certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent.
