About the role

  • Accounts Payable & Payroll Associate Director managing payroll processing and accounts payable functions. Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial operations for PPGNY.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees biweekly payroll processing and full‑cycle accounts payable for accurate and compliant financial operations
  • Reviews payroll for accuracy and prepares labor and payroll analytics
  • Ensures proper expense allocation and reconciles 401(k) contributions
  • Partners with HR and the payroll vendor to improve automation and maximize ADP functionality
  • Ensures invoices align with contracts and maintains accurate coding and expense distributions
  • Monitors vendor terms and manages AP reconciliations
  • Prepares cash requirement projections and ensures audit‑ready documentation
  • Contributes to ongoing process improvements across both functions

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting and payroll experience including prior supervisory experience.
