Localization Manager responsible for leading localization transformation and AI-driven strategies at Pipedrive. Managing a hybrid team while collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Responsibilities
Lead localization transformation, evolving from traditional processes to AI-powered, scalable workflows
Design and implement AI-driven localization strategies, including LLM-based translation and automated QA to accelerate speed-to-market
Own and define the long-term localization technology roadmap, including TMS assessment, AI tooling, and system integrations
Play a key change management role, driving adoption of AI workflows and modern practices across a well-established but evolving localization function
Work hands-on to modernize processes and directly shape how localization is executed day-to-day
Support and grow an international business operating in 25+ languages, balancing quality in core markets with scalable, cost-efficient expansion
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to embed localization early into the development lifecycle and improve global user experience
Lead and mentor a hybrid team of Localization PMs and Language Specialists, while fostering a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation
Establish modern quality frameworks that combine AI efficiency with human expertise for high-impact content
Manage external vendors and LSPs, optimizing partnerships for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
Strong experience in localization, ideally including a leadership role
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-language localization programs (10+ languages; experience scaling to 25+ is a strong plus)
Hands-on expertise with modern TMS platforms and integrating them into product and engineering workflows via APIs/GitHub
Demonstrated success implementing AI-driven localization workflows, including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) and Neural Machine Translation (NMT/MLT) in production environments
Strong track record of driving cost efficiencies and scalability through automation, process optimization, and strategic vendor management
Experience defining and tracking key localization metrics such as throughput, cost-per-word, quality scores, and localized user engagement/NPS
Proven ability to lead teams through transformation, supporting linguists and stakeholders in adopting AI-enabled tools and workflows
Strategic mindset with experience owning localization roadmaps, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving organizational change
Comfortable operating in high-autonomy roles, with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and execution
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align product, engineering, and content teams around localization goals
