About the role

  • Technology Manager overseeing secure systems and guiding technological enhancements for HEOR. Collaborating across teams to adopt tools and support strategic goals in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure systems remain secure, dependable and well‑supported
  • Oversee all aspects of technology across the organisation
  • Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and efficient
  • Support ongoing evolution of technology ecosystem, including AI integration and cloud services
  • Help adopt modern tools and embed good practice
  • Enhance digital experience for employees
  • Shape technology's support for strategic priorities
  • Lead management of IT systems, security, infrastructure and disaster recovery planning
  • Make recommendations on upgrades and future needs
  • Monitor cybersecurity risks
  • Ensure colleagues have tools, training and support to work effectively
  • Support onboarding and upskilling of staff
  • Coordinate incidents with internal teams and providers
  • Maintain networking, AV and core technology requirements
  • Ensure good technology practices are followed
  • Support compliance with data governance and client requirements
  • Contribute to development of business continuity plans regarding technology and information

Requirements

  • Strong project and change management ability.
  • Coding capability and a solid understanding of cloud‑based solutions.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach — able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with broad business impact.
  • Supplier and vendor management experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related subject.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and services.
  • Knowledge of data security requirements and best practice.
  • Understanding of data governance, business process improvement and automation.
  • Managing technology operations, infrastructure, and outsourced MSP relationships.
  • Handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Driving adoption of new technologies within a business.
