Responsibilities
Actively prospect for new business opportunities in the high-power power supply, open frame, and server power sectors
Drive sales efforts across the West Coast, targeting high-value customers in the power supply industry
Utilize your existing network and relationships with decision-makers at OEMs, VARs, and system integrators to expand our customer base
Leverage in-depth knowledge of high-power power supplies, open frames, and server power solutions to effectively consult with customers
Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies
Work closely with internal teams - engineering, product management, and marketing - to ensure customer needs are met with the right product solutions
Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions
Requirements
Minimum of 8+ years of sales experience in the high-power power supply industry
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling to OEMs, VARs, system integrators, and end users in the power supply market
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of high-power power supplies, open frames, and server power products, including their design, application, and integration within client systems
Network within the Industry: Established relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the power supply space, including OEMs, data centers, telecommunications providers, and industrial manufacturers
Sales Performance: Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex, highly technical industry
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to deliver complex technical presentations and solutions to non-technical and technical audiences.
