Responsibilities
- Supports a set of Pfizer categories within a specific function North Americas Supply Chain
- Develops strategies and guidance for delivery of exceptional category value
- Supports development of category strategies and partners with category execution teams for implementation
- Manages or provides support to large sourcing projects
- Develops and applies comprehensive knowledge of market trends and industry best practices
- Implements metrics to measure and continuously improve data-driven supplier outcomes
- Develops and maintains relationships with key suppliers
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing & procurement with deep category management process expertise (3+ yrs for MBA/MS)
- Strong Team player
- Business operations acumen and client engagement and customer relationship management skills
- Experience managing and working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills to be able to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
