About the role

  • Manager leading order management for China Petrochemical operations in Malaysia. Develop best-level services and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance end-to-end processes for China Petrochemical industrial operations
  • Lead, support, and develop the OTC end to end team for China in Malaysia, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Lead best-level services leveraging digital tools
  • Act as a changing agent leveraging AI and automation solution
  • Act as team OTC knowledge expert and master the team skill set
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to break down silos and achieve optimal service, safety, and cost efficiency
  • Involve in S&OP process with acrylate planners and preventively identify resource limitation and fulfillment risks
  • Collaborate closely with sales/planners/marketing/co-producer managers/Transport Management & Distribution Network Management coordinator for solutions to cope with any short-term and long-term business changes balancing cost and service level
  • Collaborate with finance team for effective order and invoicing processing
  • Collaborate with controlling team for month end reconsolidation arrangement and report generating
  • Collaborate with EHSQ & Technical Data Sheet team for safely storage and transportation handling
  • Support on Zhanjiang Verbund Site (ZVS) ramp up and OTC Transformation
  • Support ZVS ramp-up and transformation initiatives, including risk identification and project execution
  • Contribute to supply chain transformation projects and other assignments as directed by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an added advantage
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in OTC, planning, and logistics
  • Experience in the chemical industry is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Mandarin (both written and spoken) for communication with customers in China, as well as fluency in English
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is required.
