About the role
- Senior Manager Audit responsible for financial audits for diverse national and international clients. Supporting consulting projects and ensuring quality of audit results in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for group and annual statutory audits for national and international clients across a range of industries and sizes
- Participate in special audits
- Prepare technical opinions on accounting and valuation issues
- Handle complex expert and advisory assignments
- Ensure quality of the team’s deliverables and communicate results to clients
- Support advisory projects, e.g., in the areas of ESG and internal audit
Requirements
- Successfully completed the auditor exam or are about to complete it
- Several years of relevant experience in statutory and financial auditing
- Strong knowledge of national accounting and auditing standards
- Motivation to engage with new topics such as sustainability reporting
- Good understanding of the requirements and needs of our mid-sized clients
- Strong service orientation
- Team player who enjoys mentoring and developing junior team members
- Experience with Caseware (ideally)
- Very good analytical and communication skills in German and English
