Senior Marketing Tech Engineer role focusing on building, configuring, and maintaining the marketing technology stack at Pepperstone. Collaborating with diverse teams to enhance customer journeys and align with business goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimise the Martech stack and data pipelines
Configure and support Segment CDP: manage sources/destinations, tracking plans, identity resolution, and debugger tools to ensure clean data flow into GA4, Mixpanel, SFMC, SF Data Cloud and the Data Warehouse.
Troubleshoot data integrity issues from Segment through to downstream systems (GA4, Mixpanel, SFMC, SFDC, Data Warehouses etc).
Implement and maintain governance across events, traits, and GTM tags through naming conventions and schema management.
Support the design and build of solutions for individual use cases, ensuring alignment with the overall Martech architecture.
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Product, Analytics, IT) to understand requirements and translate them into reliable technical implementations.
Work closely with Analytics, external agencies, and vendor support (e.g. Segment, Mixpanel) when escalation is required.
Keep documentation up to date to support scalable operations and ongoing knowledge sharing.
Continuously refine the Martech stack to improve campaign efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data reliability.
Requirements
Broad understanding of the Martech landscape and tools across different areas of the stack.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with marketing applications and platforms.
Deep technical skills in operating and managing one or more tools within the Martech stack (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment CDP, Adobe, Contentstack, Google Marketing Platforms).
Experience with event tracking, data flows, and integrations between Martech platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with architects, stakeholders, and peers.
Comfortable following architectural guidance and contributing technical expertise to the delivery of Martech solutions.
