About the role

  • Managing strategic partnerships and driving growth for Pennylane's accounting software. Collaborating with partners to help SMEs regain control of their finances.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the accounting and management reporting needs of SME leaders.
  • Understand the expectations of our integrator partners.
  • Define and implement an action plan with executive management and the partner’s commercial teams.
  • Drive the partnership closely in the field with physical presence at partner sites you manage.
  • Implement proactive, high-impact initiatives aimed at accelerating the business generated by the partner.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard integrators with high development potential.
  • Become a Pennylane commercial expert and perform product demos to engage our partners’ sales teams.

Requirements

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in indirect sales roles, ideally in accounting or financial management software, at software publishers or systems integrators.
  • You enjoy commercial relationships and spending time with your partners/clients, including lunches, trade shows, and on-site visits.
  • You are creative and persistent in achieving your objectives within your scope of responsibility.
  • You can work in a fast-moving, challenging environment.
  • You are eager to learn and progress in your sales career and proactively propose solutions to problems you encounter.
  • Strong ability to collaborate daily with other teams while remaining conciliatory.
  • You have knowledge of the accountancy-tech / fin-tech ecosystem.
  • You have an English level sufficient for internal professional discussions and presentations.
