About the role

  • Head of Strategy & Operations at Pennylane focusing on team management and operational excellence in Partner Success department.

Responsibilities

  • You lead a team of 5 colleagues (Strategy & Ops Analysts); you set and monitor individual objectives, support their skills development and career progression in collaboration with our HRBP.
  • You review and challenge the team's deliverables (analyses, workflows, tools) to ensure their relevance, rigor and impact.
  • You define and maintain the Strategy & Ops roadmap in alignment with the Partner Success department's overall priorities.
  • You determine project priorities, allocate resources and precisely define the team's scope of work to maximize business impact.
  • You are responsible for designing and ensuring the coherence of process architecture across the department.
  • You act as the bridge between different teams (Sales, Product, Partner Success).
  • You ensure that processes are well understood and adopted by all employees.
  • In collaboration with the CRM team, you oversee the evolution of the department's software stack.
  • You design automation solutions to absorb growth in the number of firms without any loss of quality.
  • You act as the right-hand to the Director of Partner Success.
  • You contribute to building forecasting models, managing activity forecasts and anticipating short- and medium-term staffing needs.
  • You make concrete, data-driven recommendations on the department's strategy.
  • You ensure the reliability of critical KPIs and produce dashboards that enable proactive management of the department.
  • You ensure the flow of information between all stakeholders across the organization.
  • You identify friction points between departments and propose solutions to streamline end-to-end workflows.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in management, engineering or business school.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in Operations, Consulting or in managing complex projects. Experience in a scale-up or in a 1,000+ person organization that has undergone rapid growth is a plus.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in French and English (international context).
  • People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage teams and support change for at least 2 years.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Experience coordinating and leading cross-functional teams without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Systems: Deep knowledge of CRM/ERP environments (Salesforce, etc.) and workflow automation.
  • Long-term project management: Proven success in large-scale deployments (new tool rollouts, team structuring, software migrations).
  • Methodological rigor: Ability to design robust, well-documented process architectures.
  • Data analysis: Ability to manage performance through structured KPIs.
  • Forecasting: Ability to model activity forecasts and staffing plans.
