About the role

  • Own day-to-day HR Operations for the Egypt team including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, HRIS accuracy, and compliance
  • Anticipate and resolve employee issues proactively, manage routine employee relations matters with fairness and discretion, ensuring a positive employee experience
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level roles — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience while building strong future talent pipelines
  • Support workforce planning and organization design, ensuring alignment between team structures and business goals
  • Support learning, development, and engagement initiatives, including internal trainings, team events, and culture-building activities
  • Ensure a structured onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success in their first 90 days
  • Maintain accurate HR data and dashboards (attrition, time-to-hire, attendance, probation outcomes) and use insights to inform improvements and leadership decisions
  • Communicate HR policies and updates clearly, ensuring all employees understand processes, benefits, and expectations
  • Continuously improve HR processes, from onboarding workflows and recruitment steps to documentation and HRIS usage

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent Acquisition, ideally in a tech or startup environment
  • Fluent in English (is a must)
  • Proven experience managing both recruitment and people operations processes end-to-end
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships with managers and employees alike
  • Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and a people-first mindset in every interaction
  • Eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic fintech environment
