About the role

  • Specialist integrating ELL team at Pearson, selling educational solutions to premium and international schools. Building long-term relationships with academic decision-makers in Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Join the ELL (English Language Learning) Brazil team as a Senior Commercial Specialist.
  • Act strategically and consultatively to sell educational solutions and English-language teaching materials to premium schools, international schools, and institutions following British, American, or IB curricula.
  • Build long-term relationships with academic and administrative decision-makers.
  • Conduct consultative sales of English educational solutions.
  • Manage and develop a strategic client portfolio.
  • Lead meetings with principals, academic coordinators, school owners, and educational leaders.
  • Map opportunities, conduct educational diagnostics, and present customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with academic teams, marketing, and implementation.
  • Represent the company at educational events, fairs, conferences, and strategic industry meetings.
  • Monitor commercial KPIs and the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Cultural fit with Pearson
  • Strong academic background, preferably in Languages (Letras), Pedagogy, Education, or related fields, with a strong orientation toward consultative selling.
  • Proven experience in consultative sales within the education sector, especially in English language instruction, premium schools, or international education.
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical, strategic mindset with a focus on long-term results.
  • Own car.
  • Availability for frequent travel and participation in in-person events.
  • Experience with ELT publishers, EdTech solutions, or bilingual/international programs is a plus.
  • Experience working with schools following British, American, or IB curricula.
  • Experience in complex educational projects or institutional implementations.
  • Postgraduate degree.
