About the role

  • Senior HR Business Partner for Peabody's coal mining operations in Central Queensland, providing guidance and coaching to Site Leadership Team on people matters.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Site Leadership Team to support effective people leadership and decision-making
  • Provide guidance and coaching across a broad range of people matters
  • Contribute across industrial and employee relations, performance and conduct matters, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organisational change
  • Coach and support site leaders, assisting supervisors and managers to build capability in people leadership within a demanding operational environment

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, or a seasoned HRBP ready to progress into a senior role
  • Sound working knowledge of employee and industrial relations with the ability to advise leaders on complex matters
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and support leaders rather than direct outcomes
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Well-developed planning and organisational capability in a fast-paced site environment
