Project Manager driving Google Workspace projects for client success in a cloud-focused team at PCG. Engaging in resource management and project monitoring for timely and quality delivery.
Responsibilities
Project setup & planning: You create and align the detailed project plan with the team and the client.
Team and resource management: In coordination with the Tech Lead, you assemble the project team and manage overall time and resource planning.
Controlling & monitoring: You actively track project progress, control time and materials, and report regularly to all stakeholders (team & client).
Project leadership & facilitation: You lead key meetings such as onboarding sessions, status meetings and retrospectives.
Commercial responsibility: You handle commercial matters during the project and the handover to the back office at project close.
Success measurement (KPIs): You ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget and quality, and high planning accuracy. You escalate to the BU leader when necessary.
Requirements
A completed degree or vocational qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration) — however, proven experience in IT project management is more important than the formal qualification.
Practical experience delivering IT projects whose success is directly reflected in positive user impact.
Very good German and English, both written and spoken, for working with our DACH clients and colleagues.
Proven experience leading complex IT projects.
Ability to clearly distinguish and prioritize personnel and commercial concerns versus technical delivery responsibility (Tech Lead).
Knowledge of IT architecture is a plus.
