About the role

  • Brand Marketing Director driving global brand perception and strategy at PayJoy. Overseeing brand identity, campaigns, and performance metrics in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and scale how the world perceives PayJoy. You’ll develop the brand strategy, visual and verbal identity systems, and brand campaigns.
  • Balance data with creativity, storytelling with performance, to establish the foundations for a world-class brand function that drives measurable business impact.
  • Create a measurably effective brand function with KPIs for brand health (awareness, consideration, preference)
  • Define and articulate PayJoy’s brand positioning, purpose, and value proposition across audiences and markets.
  • Create the PayJoy brand architecture, messaging framework, tone of voice, and visual identity guidelines.
  • Lead the conception and execution of cross-channel campaigns to drive awareness and trust.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth, Design, and Communications to ensure brand consistency and coherence across every touchpoint.
  • Translate the company’s mission and impact into compelling narratives for investors, partners, and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or studying in a field related to Social Marketing.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in brand or integrated marketing roles; fintech experience is a plus.
  • Proven success launching or scaling brand strategies in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort building experiments, interpreting brand and performance metrics.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and understanding of how brand drives acquisition, retention, and trust.
