About the role

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, developing team members both professionally and personally through strong mentoring and coaching
  • Develop and own the strategic direction of all marketing activities — including Brand, Performance, Content, and Growth Marketing
  • Act as the in-house performance marketing expert at Patronus, driving innovation, testing new channels, and training internal stakeholders
  • Establish metric-driven reporting structures and ensure full funnel transparency — from lead generation through retention and LTV
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven marketing processes aligned with our business strategy and customer journey
  • Own the SEO and content marketing strategy and continuously evolve it to strengthen our organic visibility and inbound acquisition
  • Execute effective campaigns across paid and organic channels, working closely with Product, BI, Sales, and Operations
  • Foster a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends and translate these insights into actionable, high-impact growth strategies

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in B2C marketing, with proven leadership experience in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Solid expertise in performance marketing, customer acquisition, and brand-building best practices
  • Experience in SEO and content marketing with a demonstrable track record of increasing organic reach and inbound traffic
  • Background in lead generation or e-commerce, with a strong understanding of funnel optimization and conversion mechanisms
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, GTM, Salesforce, Webflow, and Figma
  • Hands-on mentality with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to scaling teams and processes
  • Collaborative leadership style — able to lead, enable, and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a visionary perspective on building an outstanding consumer brand
  • Business-fluent German (C1) and English (C1)
