Responsibilities
Support Live Events across CBS.com and apps focusing on Sports events
Responsible for supporting operational workflows, accompanying documentation, and day-to-day content needs and updates related to live events on CBS Digital platforms (OTT/CTV, Web, and Mobile Apps) and properties
Ensure real-time operations and monitor the start and end of all live events
Working during all live events
Schedule is primarily weekends, holidays, and evenings
Scheduling and programming live events on platforms
Creating operational workflows and accompanying documentation for: Homepage marquees, Real-time publishing/unpublishing, Live event curation
Supporting Dynamic Ad Insertion operations
Creating Jira ticketing process for all necessary work
QA of live events across all platforms and locations
Escalating any issues outside of the purview of Operations to the appropriate channels
Triaging and resolving any operational issues
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience in project, content management, product support in a digital consumer environment, or a closely related role
Strong QA skills with demonstrated ability to drive product decisions, prioritization, and trade-offs
Experience using CMS and DAM systems
Familiarity with live streaming events, and core user behaviors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey requirements, and performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with live events
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and adapt to evolving priorities and market dynamics.
