About the role

  • Senior Manager of Safety & Operations ensuring regulatory compliance within Electric Operations. Leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive business performance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive CPUC regulatory compliance across Electric Distribution, Transmission, and Substation operations
  • Lead responses to CPUC audits, data requests, and NOVs
  • Partner with executives, regulators and internal teams to navigate rule changes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for GRC and TO Rate Cases
  • Define and communicate key metrics for Safety & Operations performance
  • Lead high-impact projects that benchmark best practices
  • Champion risk mitigation by shaping policy
  • Oversee standards implementation and audit readiness
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large, high-performing compliance team
  • Engage confidently with executives and external regulators

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience with electric utility or related programs
  • 5 years of experience as a program or project manager
  • Demonstrated expertise managing compliance with CPUC, CAISO, OEIS, CalFIRE, and other regulatory agencies
  • Proven experience overseeing compliance across distribution, transmission, and substation operations
  • Strong knowledge of CPUC regulations, filings, and reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with wildfire mitigation planning and associated regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to conduct data analysis on CPUC priors and trends
