About the role
- Expert Program Manager leading design and integration of regulatory insight frameworks for PG&E. Overseeing comprehensive insight generation to strengthen compliance posture and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and continuously enhance the regulatory insight framework, including standards, taxonomies, workflows, and governance protocols.
- Integrate regulatory obligations, compliance maturity expectations, operational risk indicators, and performance insights into a unified ecosystem that supports enterprise decision-making.
- Drive methodological consistency across insight-generation activities, including horizon scanning, risk signal interpretation, issue triangulation, and trend synthesis.
- Collaborate with Strategy team on structured monitoring of emerging regulatory requirements, enforcement actions, industry trends, operational risks, and compliance signals.
- Translate fragmented, complex, or ambiguous inputs into clear intelligence summaries.
- Partner with Compliance Strategy, Governance, Operations, Risk, Regulatory Affairs, and Law to validate interpretations and ensure aligned enterprise messaging.
- Develop and steward repeatable insight products such as risk and compliance briefs, intelligence updates, regulatory summaries, and executive-prepared narratives.
- Lead cross-functional sessions to synthesize insights, align interpretations, define implications, and establish shared understanding across compliance, operations, and governance teams.
- Maintain documentation of insight-generation processes, definitions, methods, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business
- 8 years of related equivalent experience
- PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field (desired)
- Demonstrated ability to identify trends across large, complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in visual management and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience integrating insights into compliance strategy, performance improvement, risk mitigation, and operational decision processes
- Proven ability to collaborate across diverse functions and influence enterprise wide understanding and priorities
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) (desired)
