About the role

  • Providing customer-facing support and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Analysing legislation and delivering accurate, relevant payroll advice
  • Participating in payroll-related projects
  • Administering offline payroll data and processes
  • Advising on leave management and ensuring compliance
  • Managing Service Now queries related to payroll
  • Conducting payroll GL reconciliations and processing invoices
  • Executing payroll input and managing external service providers
  • Administering region/country-specific benefits
  • Executing end-of-year payroll processes and reporting
  • Delivering regular and ad hoc payroll reports
  • Supporting compliance with legislation and reporting requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in payroll, ideally within Australia or New Zealand
  • Strong understanding of HR/payroll policies, procedures, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation
  • Solid knowledge of payroll systems (Ramco, Dayforce, SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar)
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and work independently
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a commitment to supporting others’ success
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
