Regional Sales Manager for RIEDEL focusing on sales and market development in Australia and New Zealand. Collaborating with technicians and consultants to provide customer support and system design.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the sales of the RIEDEL portfolio to customers in the Australian and New Zealand markets, as well as aiding in the development of new verticals for the business.
You’ll act as the relationship owner for your customers and will be backed by our team of technicians and system consultants to provide comprehensive technical support as well as system consulting and design.
You will generate new business by managing and developing current channels (broadcast, entertainment, venue and corporate accounts) and new clients in related segments.
You will be responsible for the execution and achievement of a sales plan including customer acquisitions, generating offers, product presentations, contract negotiations and closing.
Requirements
3+ years of proven sales experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment market OR 3+ years proven senior engineering or production operation experience in either Broadcast or Entertainment
Experience in developing new markets/verticals would be highly regarded.
Experience in responding to formal tender processes would be highly regarded.
Broad knowledge of video and/or audio technology.
Ability to travel throughout the dedicated sales territories
Must be able to travel internationally, mainly to NZ, Europe and USA. This role will carry a travel requirement of around 25%
Secondary languages, notably German or Asian languages, are desirable, but not essential.
