Responsibilities
You take overall responsibility for the technical management and standards of Riedel technology within the motorsport segment.
You support, develop and innovate our technical standards for one of our largest projects.
You plan, implement and operate communications, signaling, and intercom infrastructures for all racing events.
You coordinate and technically integrate Riedel systems, monitor system performance, analyze faults, and rapidly troubleshoot issues during events.
You lead the on-site technician team, including disciplinary responsibilities, and oversee employee development and performance management.
You develop and implement onboarding strategies and training programs and facilitate coordination between Engineering, Project Management, and the Experts team.
You plan resources, shift schedules, and global team deployments, and participate in budget and workforce planning.
Requirements
Completed technical degree in media technology, communications engineering, IT, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in senior technical or project management roles, ideally in international live events or broadcast environments
At least 5 years of leadership experience with technical and disciplinary responsibilities
Deep knowledge of IP-based networks, intercom systems, broadcast technologies, and signal distribution
Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, international environments
Willingness to travel worldwide; fluent in English, other languages are a plus
