- Senior Director R&D Strategy & Operations leading execution of strategic R&D roadmaps at Johnson & Johnson. Role involves budget planning and operational performance metrics for R&D initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective execution of research & development strategy
- Build and lead the execution of strategic R&D roadmap, initiatives, and special projects
- Deliver multi-platform improvements to people, culture, process, products, and infrastructure
- Manage R&D Digital & Robotics department operational aspects
- Deliver real-time insights into R&D performance
- Drive R&D Budget planning process/updates
- Serve as key liaison with finance business partners
- Provide daily business partnership with Finance
- Directly responsible for administration of uniform operating mechanisms, process improvements
- Shape & deliver a uniform partnership across Digital & Robotics R&D projects
- Consolidate and provide R&D input for management requests, monthly reporting, and executive reviews
- Lead Digital & Robotics R&D meetings and ensure aligned decision-making
- Build organizational knowledge of external trends in R&D.
Requirements
- Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required
- Medical Device/Orthopaedics and/or Regulated Industry Experience is highly preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of people leadership is highly preferred
- Process optimization for multi-disciplinary systems and capabilities in regulated industries

- Strong project & Portfolio management skills in Digital organizations
