About the role

• Senior SAP Data Solutions Engineer designing and implementing data solutions in SAP environments. Contributing to SAP migrations and collaborating with cross-functional teams for project success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions in SAP environments with a focus on migrations (e.g. SAP BW to SAP BDC or Databricks).
• Use our One Data Software to accelerate SAP migrations across the full lifecycle - from defining migration approaches to translating and migrating systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and robust data solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers, contributing to project-meetings and providing technical guidance.
• Support and work with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Value Engineering, and Product Management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, methodologies, and reusable components across projects.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a comparable hands-on role.
• Strong expertise in SAP BW, particularly in data modeling, transformations, and reporting logic, ideally combined with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP BDC.
• SAP HANA is a plus.
• Senior specialist mindset with a clear focus on hands-on work rather than management.
• Proven ability to deliver in project-based environments, ideally with customer interaction.
• Experience in SAP consulting roles (in-house or with external clients).
• Professional proficiency in German and English with the ability to confidently communicate in client-facing contexts.
