About the role
- Senior Credit Analyst responsible for analysis of heavy vehicle financing and refinancing proposals. Requires strong Excel skills and over 6 years of experience in the credit sector.
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit application proposals for financing and refinancing of heavy vehicles and utility vehicles used for cargo and passenger transport;
- Technical knowledge of credit rules and policies, with decision-making authority based on a holistic view of the data;
- Ability to analyze the business (identify relevant points and factors that influence approval);
- Analyze exceptions to the rules, weighing the strengths and weaknesses of the proposal;
- Assess vehicle assets/portfolio to calculate fleet size, average vehicle age and usage, and evaluate collateral, validating income through this assessment and considering seasonality in the client's activity;
- Prepare proposals for review by senior management and the Board, including creation of the proposal PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of product income statement (DRE) and how decisions impact product metrics (production, margin, PDD - provision for doubtful debts);
- Provide support to other analysts (junior and mid-level);
- Develop leadership skills;
- Assist the coordinator in training junior and mid-level analysts;
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree completed
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
