About the role

  • Analista de Custos I at Sabesp analyzing investment economy in engineering projects, preparing cost documents and maintaining cost bases.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain unit cost databases (R$/m³, R$/km, R$/connection, etc.).
  • Prepare parametric curves and cost comparisons by typology.
  • Analyze cost variances between budget, contract and actuals.
  • Support engineering teams by providing quantitative explanations of costs.
  • Produce reports and quantitative evidence for RC/DRC.
  • Maintain historical records and standardization of regulatory cost references.
  • Promote integration of price formatting tools (Price and Inputs Database) with SAP, enabling budget releases and contracting of projects.
  • Prepare reports and monitoring indicators showing reference costs vs. actual costs applied to projects and engineering services contracted by the Directorate of Engineering and Innovation, highlighting results, trends, opportunities and risks inherent to the processes.
  • Establish and participate in budgeting processes focused on validating direct costs applied to projects and engineering services contracted by the Directorate of Engineering and Innovation, providing detailed analyses of contract performance.
  • Organize the budget cycle (investment and operating expense) involving contracts in effect for works and engineering services, to enable execution of projects under Sabesp’s responsibility.

Requirements

  • University degree completed.
  • Proficiency in the administrative tools and systems currently used at Sabesp (e.g., SAP, 1Doc, budget formation spreadsheets for works and services).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and SharePoint).
  • Experience preparing budgets for engineering projects.
  • Desirable: knowledge of regulated environments for infrastructure services – sanitation, energy, gas, etc.
