Responsibilities
- Independent responsibility for the duties of an Occupational Safety Specialist in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Support in preparing risk assessments and the associated work and operating instructions for onshore and offshore areas.
- Ensure the flow of information to all employees about existing HSE regulations and communicate changes to safety and emergency procedures.
- Advise and support the implementation of HSE objectives and programs.
- Prepare training and instruction materials.
- Conduct training sessions.
- Regular inspections of workplaces onshore and offshore.
- Co-responsibility for HSE system development, and for tracking and documenting HSE-related incidents.
- Ensure integration of permit-related regulatory requirements.
- Act as an interface to authorities and customers.
- Prepare HSE-related documentation for reporting and presentations.
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical university degree, master/technician qualification, or an equivalent qualification, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Further training/certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist is desirable.
- Professional experience in occupational safety, preferably in offshore wind or electrical engineering.
- Good knowledge of relevant legal requirements.
- Process-oriented thinking and a confident, persuasive manner.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Confident verbal and written communication in German and English.
- Willingness and qualification to participate in international and offshore assignments.
