About the role

  • Brand Manager leading brand strategy and communications at OLX. Responsible for brand management across various channels to ensure consistency and emotional connection with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual plans, strategies, and programs to drive category growth, taking full responsibility for all communication with agencies, key stakeholders, and partners.
  • Act as the ultimate brand gatekeeper and ensure consistency across product, marketing, sponsorships, PR, influencers, and offline touch points
  • Create proactive business action plans in response to market dynamics, collaborating closely with all cross-functional teams, commercial functions, and category leaders.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and execution of of high-impact brand campaigns across all channels that resonate with customers.
  • You will initiate and leverage marketing research according to market needs.
  • You will work with internal analytics teams to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • You will drive continuous improvement by adopting an experimental approach to uncover new opportunities, optimize campaign performance, and grow lifetime customer value

Requirements

  • 3+ years in similar roles to brand management and product marketing, preferably in e-commerce, retail, IT, Telecom, and FMCG.
  • Strong experience in driving impactful creative campaigns, developing excellent creatives, and aesthetic acumen.
  • Deep understanding of global and local market trends, efficient marketing mix, and strategic best practices.
  • You are accustomed to working in the matrix-or other complex environments and are able to cope with a good degree of ambiguity
  • Project management–the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment with maturity and foresight to cope with input and changes.
  • A KPI and results-oriented person, capable of driving both strategic direction and tactical optimization.
  • Collaborative and honest–work with integrity as a valuable member of the virtual European team, sharing best practices and building on others' work to drive synergy, agility and pace of change across the sector.
