About the role

  • Associate Brand Manager for Mr. Coffee with Newell Brands, driving brand management and business results delivery in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of the annual brand marketing and business plan.
  • Build, manage, and maintain forecasting models, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver demand forecasts within acceptable error ranges.
  • Deliver timely monthly brand performance reporting with clear insights and commentary.
  • Support new product launches, including item set-up, product testing, packaging development, and readiness activities required for successful market execution.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Planning to prepare materials for key customers and support joint business planning.
  • Analyze brand performance, market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to evaluate innovation, promotions and brand initiatives.
  • Integrate and interpret multiple data sources to uncover growth opportunities and develop actionable business improvement recommendations.
  • Identify gaps in marketplace understanding and lead analyses to address them.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to the Senior Brand Manager and senior management.
  • Monitor product velocity, distribution performance, share of shelf, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities, market share risks, and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Execute shipper and display programs and optimize future creative and promotional strategies based on performance analytics and learnings.

Requirements

  • A four-year college degree
  • 2+ years of prior experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles is preferred.
  • Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
  • Up to 10% travel potential.
  • Fluent in English.
